Registration for activities

All activities must be related to the thematic blocks of the III WSFM






Seminars
To identify, prepare and study in depth specific topics of the thematic focal points. Lectures and subsequent debates will be held by the group of participants. In each seminar there will be a coordinator and a minute taker.

Workshops
To create a meeting place that provides channels for active participation.
Content will be highly practical in nature and aimed at the interchange of experiences, strategies and specific actions. It is an opportunity to put forth present and future actions as well as to establish new networks.

Free activities
To reinforce the theme and the public image of the forum as a politico-cultural event: conferences, roundtable discussions, book presentations etc

Self-managed cultural activities
To offer a space to participate in cultural activities: evening concerts; educational activities for children adolescents and young adults; street entertainment. These will be proposed and managed by the social organizations.

The process for the proposal of activities is as follows:

  1. Online pre-registration by completing information requested (registration deadline (June 15th)
  2. Confirmation of acceptance and approval of the activity by the Organizing Committee (Following this date)
  3. The presentations must be sent by the 15th of August in order to be posted on the web site, and to be published in the Forum Report.

The organizing committee will assign the space where the activity will take place, and will be responsible for publishing the information about the activities on the website of the World Social Forum on Migration if the deadlines have been met
The deadline to register activities for the III World Social Forum on Migrations is the 15th of June, 2008.
