Article by Rafael Lara. Asociación Pro Derechos Humanos de Andalucía These words are written while still being impacted by the recent tragedies. In a couple of days, 45 people from Gomera, Almeria, and Motril lost their lives at sea. A couple of weeks earlier, on the 24th of June, 37 people were found dead off the coast of the capital Gabon, Libreville, after the boat in which they sailed was shipwrecked. At the end of April, along the beach of Al-Hoceima in Marraco, 36 cadavers were recovered. At the beginning of this very month, the Algerian coast guards rescued 13 cadavers of clandestine migrants who set sail off the beach of Mers el Hedjadj in direction of Murcia.
