Hotels
The Organising Committee of the Forum has reached agreements with hotels located in Rivas Vaciamadrid and nearby towns by which rooms are reserved for those participating in the Forum and are available at reduced prices.
Hotel reservations for the Forum will be made by participants themselves, according to the following guidelines:
1º.- Participants must contact the hotel directly (see table below)
2º.- Reservations can only be made by fax or email.
3º.- In communication with the hotel participants must:
- Identify themselves as Forum participants
- Include their Personal Identification Number (PIN) given when you register yourself by the web.

(*) According to our agreement with the hotels, the price is per room, not per person and includes breakfast.
(**) For hotels not in Rivas Vaciamadrid, the Forum will organize a free transport service between the Forum and hotels. There will be one service early in the morning and one in the evening after activities finish.
Municipal Sports Center
The municipal Sports centre “Cerro del Telégrafo” is a possibility for the participants for free accommodation. This Sports centre is borrowed from the city council of Rivas- Vaciamadrid and is situated close to the place where will take place the III WSFM.
Participants will sleep on air mattress and thus need sleeping bags or sheets.
It is not necessary to inscribe yourself previously; the participants, once they are accredited from the WSFM, can come directly to the Sports Centre and inscribe themselves.
Rivas Urbanizaciones (on line 9, in the direction of the teminus station Arganda del Rey) is the nearest metro station to the Forum and is 20 minutes walk from the Forum.
From the airport
The airport is connected to the Metro network. Follow signs to Metro and take line 8 in the direction of Nuevos Ministerios. Change at Colombia to line 9 in the direction of Arganda del Rey. The closest station to the Forum is Rivas Urbanizaciones.
The journey from the airport takes about an hour and a half.
FROM Madrid:
The “La Veloz” bus company runs a direct service between Madrid and Rivas Vaciamadrid. Buses leave from Plaza Conde de Casal approximately every 15 minutes on weekdays and every 25 minutes on Saturdays.

BY CAR
Rivas Vaciamadrid is located by the A3 motorway near Madrid. At the moment there are roadworks in the area, but the exit is signposted Rivas Oeste. If you’re coming from Madrid, it’s the first exit after crossing the M50. If you’re coming from the opposite direction (Valencia) it’s the last exit before the M50.
After leaving the motorway, turn right at the first roundabout and you’ll see the Forum carpark ahead.
The activities of the WFSM will take place in three different buildings:
-Auditorio Pilar Bardem
-Centro Cultural García Lorca (Building A)
-Edificio Tenencia de Alcaldía (Building B)

OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
- Participants of the WFSM will dispose of a cafeteria situated close to the enclosure of the WSFM with a menu at a price of 6, 5 € (also for vegetarian). Tickets can be bought directly in the cafeteria.
